Well we're not really sure. No one from BT retail or openreach seams to know anything about the engineer visit last Friday although openreach are finally investigating the saga. BT retail have just cancelled our order full stop saying that because it's fibre to the house we need the boxes installed before they can process an order even though they've already created one.
Openreach have been saying that with new builds the boxes are usually installed a few days prior to occupation but can't quite grasp the fact we've been here since Christmas.
Oh and then my wife had a phone call from one of their Indian call centres asking something about the address and if we'd registered it with royal mail then basically called her called liar because he couldn't find our address on their system.

Blimey... I've never known something be so complicated. You'd think this day in age the fact we rely so heavily on the internet etc would make this a simple affair. How wrong could we be?
We had a phone call to update us on our status and I missed it (sleeping baby on my knee) and they said they would call back in 3 days, still nothing and it's been a week?
Not even sure of anything else we could do to speed this process up!

What's the most annoying is the robotic responses we get from them offering no help in how to move things forward.

Hello Reilwell, I have had the same problem with BT cancelling my order, then reordering because of this none connection - I don't understand, I'm not very technical. I probably had the same indian call centre because they keep getting my address wrong regardless that I repeat myself several times. They keep saying I live at Waverley View, Catcliffe S60 5 something. They are going to contact me in 3 days time to confirm my situation??? I despair...

I've just spoken with three different BT people to be told we have fibre to the home which we already established and apparently the builders should supply you with the little grey boxes or liase with open reach to make sure they supply us with these because without the serial number we can't order the Internet! I am more baffled than ever! Everytime I speak to the site manager they just say "they don't supply the boxes"

We've had an email saying that openreach engineers are on site from today to finish installation off. Hopefully site will let them in or they'll leave a direct number to call the them on because the not arranged an appointment time or anything

Same here who ever gets them first needs to keep hold of them and not let them leave we'll block the end of the street if we have to

Have anybody had theirs fitted today? Missed them today as been at work. Partner is home most of the day tomorrow so hoping they are back on the street then!

They never came to us and I've been in all day. Really hope it's sorted this week but can't see it. The two men that came walked up and down the road pointing at all the houses that need doing. Xx

I was hoping to catch them too see what was happening but they'd gone by the time I got home. If anyone sees them tomorrow can they try and find out what's happening I'll try and nip home at dinner and see if I can catch them aswell.

I saw them walking up the road with a gadget looking at everything even went past the end round the corner - If I wasn't mid flow a bottle feed with my daughter I'd have shot out - I NEED BROADBAND (she says like a mad women)

If they are here tomorrow I'll ask them what's happening with everyones line and if it will be sorted this week as we are getting emails saying it will be sorted but then saying there's no confirmation date!! Xx
