Yeh different builders build their own box x Is yours one of those new larger green BT cabinet for fibre optic broadband or a grey one? The one I saw was grey, so maybe they are still waiting for the Green BT Cabinet.

No we've been in since Xmas and still waiting for Harron to build one x Been chasing BT Openreach today in the hope that something might get them moving on the Waverley Estate. I tried Virgin, but without BT Openreach doing their bit Virgin can't do anything either, they did raise a request with BT Openreach for me though.
Filled in the relevant form with BT Openreach, so hoping this along with chasing Harron Homes will get something moving in the right direction.

Nothing can be done until a box on the street is built.
Our connection was meant to go the box that's already on the end of our street that Harron built when we first moved in but Harron have put our ducting going the wrong way to a box that isn't built yet. So we are having to wait until Harron build a box further down the road. Only then can openreach come in and do their bit and then the suppliers bt, Virgin etc. But it has to be box built on the street then openreach then supplier. X

X This is an email from Harrons Sales Office:
Head office are working with Openreach to get this sorted out as soon as possible, the problem is that there are not enough trained Openreach engineers for all the work they need to do. We are calling them off on time but we are waiting for openreach to book them in.
We are trying to get this sorted out as soon as possible but I am unable to give any timescales.
Looks like they are playing the blame game

Sales lie through their teeth for everything. It's Harrons problem.
They showed my dad the site plans for where our Internet should have gone and have messed up.
Box, openreach, Internet suppliers that's the order x

I've emailed the Harron Homes site manager and deputy site manager and ask for a timeline of when cabinet will be built and when they expect BT Openreach to attend to connect it...
It's not the first time we've been lied to, but they do think us buyer are a bit on the tick side (feel like saying surprise - we all speak English and we have the ability to communicate via a wonderful invention called an on-line forum LMAO).
Got our Home Demo tomorrow, so i'll ask in person too Nothing like persistence (annoying reminders of your failures) to get things moving....

We've got a Professional Snagger booked in for Wednesday too, so any defects will be picked up before we move in, so hopefully we won't get any nasty surprises.

It's probably as serious as you can get but it's down the legal route now.
Good luck, remember to take a shovel to dig up those drains as they hide alsorts x
