We've exchanged contracts on plot 263 and we'd like to say hello to our neighbours.
I work from home, so I'm thinking about starting up a neighbourhood watch if anyone would be interested?
My husband and I have a little girl (2) and my husband has a son (8), we also have another on the way, hopefully won't arrive too early
Can't wait to meet our neighbours

Think we will just be around the corner from you!
I have a son at 2 and a girl on the way! I'm hoping she isn't early also! I'm due in June and we've been given may/June for moving in!
When will you be looking at moving in! X

Hi good luck with the move (and the baby (we have a 4day old hence the 3am post!) I know there have been attempts to set up a neighbourhood watch but we are in the process of trying to set up a residents association. There are separate posts on both subjects might be worth a look at those. Kate

We moved in on to the development yesterday. It's a phase 1 house that was put back on to the market. Absolutely love it. We have a daughter who's two in a couple of months. Good luck with the move!

Hi everyone. We've bought plot 264 so we're your next door neighbours terri1977! Very exciting. We haven't got a moving in date yet but I assume it will be a few weeks after yours. I'm Jo, my other half is Jason. I've got a girl who's 5 and a boy who's 3 (better sort school and nursery out soon!)

Hi Chris not long for you guys then! When is your next baby due? Baby due 2nd July. Our moving date has been put back to 22nd April now. Don't mind waiting a little longer as long as the builders don't rush and cut corners. Some of the posts on here are very worrying!

It's really scary reading all these posts!!! You just don't expect any of these things happening when your spending all this money on a brand new house! Little snags yes but not the big problems that they are finding!
I'm just trying to stay positive and hopeful cause really that's all you can do! X

We're hoping to have legally completed on the 22nd April, so we would be looking to move 23rd or after, it really depends on Pickfords availability

I'm very excited, we've got it all sorted (comes with the territory, I'm a Programme Manager) Sophie will be going to Kidz@Work which is across the parkway, its within walking distance and really looking forward it. It's a lovely place, well organised.
We need to look at schools for Sophie as she'll be 3 in July and will start September 2017, Currently looking at Catcliffe Primary and Treeton, would be good to have a chat and understand your thoughts on schools

Little snags yes but not the big problems that they are finding! I'm just trying to stay positive and hopeful cause really that's all you can do! X I would really recommend you get a professional snagger, we've organised Martyn from Brick Kickers. I've also drawn up my own snagging list, everyone is welcome to use it, I drew it up using advise from various websites. Its based on a Kenilworth, but easily modified for any build, it isn't exhaustive as I'm sure there are other items which you can check Kenilworth Snagging.xlsx (69.69 KB)
Don't forget if you're not happy with the response from Harron Homes you can take it to NHBC www.nhbc.co.uk/ and the Consumer code for Home Buyers which Harron are part of consumercodeforhomebuilders.com/ , these organisations are there if you feel you are not being treat fairly by the home builder
