I want to see this time of they stick to their word as the last time Richard came out he promised everything and hardly anything got done.
Yesterday after he'd been he said someone was coming straight round to shift the muck off the fences as it will rot but no one came. Today the plasterer HAS turned up and nearly the full house needs replastering. He also said someone was coming to sort the windows today as they have just stuck expandable foam down the sides!! And someone was coming to see to the drains!!! Let's see if that gets done today because if not my dad has already told Neil that he will be seeing a lot of him and he will he'll be back down finding him to ask why hasn't this got done today. Need to keep on top of everything cos if not they will do as little as possible just to get by. I know it's hard for people working with holidays and things but if yiu can pressure them for a date to do stuff and if yiu can't be in get a family member to be in.
I'll see how things go today but can't believe we've bought a new house to have it all replastered near enough and all the render needs coming off. Xx

Bodged more jobs up!!! I'm getting fed up now, it's like we're having to babysit em. We have to go over all jobs after they've done em to see what they've done!!! Shouldn't be like this!!! And all the walls in the house are miles out!!! Someone definitely needs glasses!!!!

Hi Hayley
Following your plight with the state of your house is exactly as the title states “shocking”! I really do feel for you and with me having a plot just up the road, it doesn’t fill me with confidence of the quality when it’s finished. I know what sales are like for fobbing you off with excuses. Buying a new house should be exciting times, but Harron Homes has only caused me worry. Good luck to getting everything fixed to what it should be in the first place.

We are onto them everyday, makes us madder when we have to follow them around supervising their work!!! But it's what we've got to do now as we don't trust them and you would have thought they'd have learnt when they bodged the drains, not once but twice!!! Then again today on the roof of the garage!!! Think they can stick things over and er won't notice!!! Must think we were born yesterday!!!
Nothing we can do with walls been out, that's down to the joinery, but still down to harron homes. If the plasterer puts more plaster boards and plaster over the top then the door frame and skirting boards are guna dissapear!!! It's just one big joke!!! But the major things we are dealing with. My dad's onto them none stop. Best of it the bloke that deals with all the bits and bobs has gone off sick so me dad today shovelled all muck away from fence so it doesn't rot, while doing that he could see the back off the house from the sludgy garden!!! Tiles have slid off the garage and the guttering isn't right on the back of the house. It's everyday finding new things!!! Xx

I'm fast losing hope after finding out that Harron Homes have no men of their own, everyone is a contractor even the handy man they have and he's off sick!! And they only have the one handy man!! I can't see these jobs ever been completed even though we are onto them every single day as they just seem to blame each other and contractors blaming contractors and site managers blaming contractors. I used to do photos for paper so would be easy for me to get an article in but I'm giving them a chance and they seem to messing up each time. Our garage needs a complete new floor in and sorting right and there's nothing booked in for that. They seem to be using the fact I'm turning it into a studio as a getaway option. The fact I've paid for a garage, that's what I want a proper garage that's not bodged or flooded. Just seem to be doing as little as possible to get away with it. Can't believe they've only got one bloke who does all the odd jobs and at that he's bodging up and he's off sick and they can't get anyone else even though hes a contractor, can't believe they've got no men of their own!!! Next option is getting our own in and billing them for it cos I won't sit around months waiting for these things to be done. We've paid for a new house and that's what we'd hoped to have got. Plasterers been in last two days and house looks like an old house. No one's booked in for render yet as render has to all come off. It's just ongoing. Xx

We've been in our house 3 years in April. I'm still waiting for a cracked toilet to be replaced! I wouldn't be waiting if I had the problems you've had. You've been more then reasonable! I'd now be contacting the papers, trading standards and my solicitors.

After a series of catastrophic failures, I think we will contact Trading Standards and NHBC. The kitchen has been ripped out today to replace, only to discover mold behind one of the walls. It seems one step forward, two steps back with Harron. Very disappointed. I shall add this to he just of 248 snags my wife has catalogued...

We are supposed to move in on Waverley Walk at the end of Feb after being pushed back from December. Why has your kitchen had to be ripped out? You must be gutted. 248 snags is just disgusting I feel for you.

Hiya. Multiple issues I'm afraid. 1. They gave us the WRONG Kitchen! 2. Dishwasher broken 3. Oven broken 4. Shelves poorly hung 5. Additional lighting not working
It is ALL being replaced today / tomorrow. In the meantime, we don't have kitchen sink / hob. Currently living out of microwave and kettle upstairs!
6. Kitchen work now has to be postponed till damp/mold is resolved. 7. No underlay in downstairs carpet. Little boy is now beginning to crawl / walk! Carpet fitters were told by site to lay it regardless (to get is in for Christmas). 8. All walls need reskimming. 9. No topsoil under lawn turf.
The other snags are mostly cosmetic and don't mind if they are resolved in due course, but in the mean time, can't unpack, can't install blinds. It's not fun anymore...
If anyone wants a laugh, read their website section on customer services: "As a company, we never compromise on the build quality or specification of our homes, and we always pride ourselves on the outstanding service we deliver." My personal favorite is: "A harron home boasts unrivaled attention to detail and superior specification with luxury features throughout as standard." Hayley, are you impressed with your luxury features? Does anyone know of of a direct E-mail address to someone who can actually get things done or do I have to consider legal action?

Blimey that's just unacceptable it seems like they don't care about fixing stuff either which is extremely worrying. If we weren't going to lose so much money I'd be dropping out!!!! It just sounds like something off a channel 4 documentary.
How can they get your kitchen wrong? Maybe it's lucky they did with the mould.
