It doesn't look like they've decided yet as there's no stops shown on the map, despite it showing the route - either that or it's a tourist sight-seeing tour (I'm assuming the white dots with a pink outline are the stops). I suspect there'll be one outside the apartments they're building on Highfield Lane or next to Highfield Square (between the apartments and Barratt office). I'll keep an eye out for temporary bus stop signs appearing over the weekend and let you know if I spot any. Full details: www.travelsouthyorkshire.com/timetables/sheffield/614.htm

I called First Group and managed to get a bit more info. Installing the bus stops is the responsibility of sypte, but First have not been told when that will be. The woman I spoke to called the bus depot to find out what they know and told me that until a bus stop is installed First will operate a 'hail and ride' service on the roads within the estate. So just stand by the side of one of the roads on the route, stick out your hand and the bus should stop. Any drivers not doing this should be reported to First.

The 72 has already driven down Highfield Lane - so much for starting Monday.

I drove down high field lane and a 72a came the opposite direction. I was surprised to see the double decker at first. I wondered where the bus stops are.

Good Morning!
The bus isn't going through the estate today. It's running its normal route until we get bus stops. I was told to ring back after 9 to find out when the changed rotate will start running.

It's just not acceptable to mess us around on a Monday morning. There's probably people waiting around to hail a bus that isn't coming

I saw at least one person missed the bus this morning because they were waiting on the estate :/
The bus driver said it would be sometime in the next 7 days but they had no idea when. Will call first later and see whats going on

Had the following response from First via email:
31 October 2016
Thank you for contacting us with your enquiry. I'm sorry for the delay with our response.
Unfortunately, the bus stops have not been erected on the revised route around the Waverley estate and no notification has been placed on the stops on Highfield Spring advising customers of the route change.
Consequently it has been decided to defer the route change until these issues have been resolved.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you and I hope that this issue is resolved promptly.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions - I'll be happy to help.
Yours sincerely

All this talk about busses through the estate and missing them due to stops I'm surprised no-one has talked about car shares on the estate or anything.

The people who drive the buses and the people who provide the bus stops don't know what's happening. Can't imagine how a councillor would know more

Hi, this will be discussed at the residents association meeting tonight. But I understand it will stay on the old route for a couple of weeks

Hahaha, not bloody likely! I've go for a car share but I can't see me taking the bus, did 10 years of tram back in the day, packed on like cattle getting colds every 3 months. No thanks!
