Seems like pretty good provision, if you live near Highfield Lane... Attachments:

Surely they could have put something on Stephenson way to serve the front of the estate. It's driving up there anyway

I think it's just missing a stop on Stephenson Way (highlighted in blue on the attached) or even Mitchell Way, which would accommodate the residents down in the south west corner of the estate. Green being roughly where the stop is now and red where the temp stops will be says to me it's pretty much right for the layout of the estate.

The sign says they are only temporary stops until the permanent ones are installed. I'm sure they will put one on Stephenson way. I will ask when I email them this afternoon and try and get some answers

It'll be interesting when the new bus route starts. The Highfield Lane/Lescar Road junction is a nightmare with people parking up to the pedestrian crossing, it's hard enough trying to squeeze a car through at the best of times, never mind a bus!

For those coming to the residents meeting tomorrow public transport will be a topic of conversation especially with the councillors attending hopefully we will find out more regarding the 72 and bus stops will update following the meeting for those unable to attend Wishful thinking. The people who drive the buses and the people who provide the bus stops don't know what's happening. Can't imagine how a councillor would know more Hi I suspect that is why there is no stop at that end for now, after the rant we gave them on Tuesday night I suspect they want to see it for themselves!

Hi all Just had the following from harworth Please find attached the locations of the four temporary new bus stops: 1. Stephenson Way near bin (as stop 1) 2. Stephenson Way near tree opposite the above location. 3. Highfield Lane (as stop 2b) same side and in front of Highfield Square as shown adjacent to newly planted tree. 4. Highfield Lane (as 2c) across from show house on Rivelin Way. Stop to be placed on green space on tactile crossing point as shown.

Interesting, this partially contradicts the poster that first have put up at the Highfield Spring bus stop. The mystery continues...
