A few have gone past tonight. I'd recommend using the main stops on the top road tomorrow just in case.

What an absolute shambles... First should be ashamed of themselves. If they decide to change routes at short notice, then the least they could do is paste notices to the bus stops that it affects.

I got the bus this morning, went through the estate, just one person got on though. I am surprised at how many cars the bus has to weave round, not well thought out. A very handy service for those that don't drive.

A reactive diversion is even worse than a suspension in my mind. How can it possibly work if some of the busses are going though, but some have to turn around?

Through the estate before 9, around the estate after 9. The lady with the baby didn't seem very happy when I told her she would have to walk to Orgreave Lane to guarantee getting a bus as through/around the estate was a lottery.
The timing of the route change would point towards the ARMC attendees being the culprits.

It's about time the University of Sheffield took some responsibility here. This has been going on since the place was built and they've done jack sh*t. They have no respect for the residents living here and that's pretty shocking. I feel a rant letter coming on...

I am putting together a petition just so we can show how many people are upset about this. Will then be able to send to the uni and copy harworth and the council in. But it is what we predicted at the last meeting!

But it is what we predicted at the last meeting! Yep. I remember raising the point regarding parked cars when he said that the roads had been verified as suitable. I've sent a letter to the AMRC demanding a response by the end of the week before I go to the local media. I don't even use buses but their lack of respect for the community in which they operate absolutely p*sses me off.

Can the bus not get through due to the cars spilling out of the AMRC, or from cars blocking Lescar road? Or both?
Are some people living on Lescar road parking badly to prevent the bus getting past, in the hope of eventually get it moved off their street?

It appears to be parked cars from the AMRC due to the timing of it.
