Ahh brilliant, thanks Gemma! Moving from Bingley, we don't get chance to go see it as often as we would like, so it's good to hear it has finally moved on! There was about 3/4 weeks where the house just didn't change at all, so really hoping this is a good sign! Hannah

Hi Hannah No problem! Managed to upload a piccy for you! Has anyone had any feedback regarding title deeds? I have emailed but not yet had a reply. The delay is unacceptable and aired my request to pass on our dissatisfaction onto Harworth Estates. Does anyone else think that there is a severe problem with the land and that's what's causing the issue? Cheers Gemma Attachments:

Cheers Gemma, great to see it! I must admit I have worried about that too, but both Harron and Harworth seem rather useless, so I am hoping it's just that! Not heard anything since Sunday, but will be giving them a call for an update tomorrow, as I just can't see it being ready for the 18th! Will update if they actually tell me anything! Hannah

Hi everyone. My wife spoke to Jenny today and we were informed that completion is still scheduled for 18th December. However, the build doesn't get signed off until the 11th December. This makes me think that we wont exchange till the building has been signed off. Cutting it fine, I think. Still worried that we have to organise services and they have given us very little window of time to do this.

They assured me we would be moving in a month ago, and still a few weeks away as far as I can tell.

Hi guys, the other half emailed Jenny today for an update and was told "head office are dealing with Harworth Estates as a matter of urgency", in other words, nothing has changed since the last time we asked.
Our completion date is still a while away, but we were told the other day we couldn't pick our kitchen, carpets, et al until contracts have been exchanged? Surely this can't be true as I presume you guys completing (allegedly) in December will have already chosen all yours?

We were told we had to pick (and pay) for choices by end of September to ensure we were in before Christmas. I told (then Rachel in the sales office) that it seemed odd to pay for all bits, since we hadn't exchanged yet but she assured me this was the norm.

Morning
Matt83 I had exactly the same email, they must have got to the point of copying and pasting email responses.
I asked them what was Harron homes expectation for getting us in for 18th and doesn't it seem too little time to get the title deeds, have our solicitors to draw up all of our contracts, conduct surveys and have us to view the house all in under 4 weeks.
I think it's unrealistic that we will be in but I have the feeling that Harron will make sure to get us in to make it look good for their year end books. What worries me is they will sacrifice the quality of the interior decoration/extras just to hit their target date.
Let's see what happens.
Cheers Gemma

What do Harron need to deal with Harworth as a matter of urgency on? Has there been a problem in the build process?

Hi loobin88, the entrance to our road was opened today when we went passed the Waverley. Wasn't suppose to go on site, but did do anyway to look how our road was doing (as photo, mine and yours are the ones with scaffolding near the end. The other photo is your house.

What do Harron need to deal with Harworth as a matter of urgency on? Has there been a problem in the build process? Not sure fella. Had an update from Harron's head office today re exchanging contracts - "At the moment we are looking at early to mid December to exchange as there has been a minor hold up regarding the title deeds which is all approved and being finalised, Harron Homes solicitors have been requested to send some details through to your solicitors so things can now proceed. Sorry for the delay." Has anyone else in the same boat as us been told the same?

Hi All
I have just had the below email update from Sharon RE Title Deeds. Thought I would share it for info.
Hi Gemma
Our sales manager said we should have them towards the end of this week.
We are still chasing solicitors daily.
Kindest regards
Sharon
Cheers Gemma

Just received a phone call from Sue and apparently it's going to be "tight" to say they will get us in by Christmas and more realistically it will be January... No kidding!! I don't mind this though as we still haven't packed the house up or arranged removals
