Does anyone else have the above date tentatively suggested for completion for any of the new Harron properties? I am concerned because we have yet to exchange contracts and order removals etc. Be nice to get something tangible so we can start the logistics of moving before Christmas. Sue in the sales office seems to think it's an issue with Title Deeds. Was wondering if anyone has heard something more concrete.

Evening!
We are in exactly the same boat! I spoke to Jenny (Rachel's replacement) a couple of days ago and she said that they are still waiting on the title deeds and that the sales manager will chase it up.
Hopefully they are through in time for us to get everything planned for moving.
Cheers Gemma

Follow everything up yourself, and phone/email them every day.
If you leave it to them, they will do everything at the last minute possible, and you will be delayed.
Believe me, I have been through all this, you need to keep the pressure on or they will just put you on the back burner.
Not here to be negative or put you off, just trying to be realistic, and hopefully by understanding how they work, you can act accordingly.
In this game, you need to be proactive. Harron are simply reactive, and certainly not in a prompt manner.
Good luck, and keep pushing them!

Hi Stanley
Thanks for your advice. I've just dropped them another mail so they have had 3 days to do something about it since my last mail.
When I hear anything back I'll pop updates.
Cheers Gemma

Hello We are in the same position only I haven't even called them in over 6 weeks as we have just had a baby. Has Rachel left I noticed you mentioned "Rachel's replacement" It would be good if we knew we could start packing up and organising removals etc!

Thanks for the advice stanley. I shall endeavour to CC customer services next time I e-mail Jenny / Sue to enquire about exchange days. It may be worth putting the thumb-screws on our own solicitor to try and motivate the Harron team as well. Fingers crossed for you loobin88 our little boy has just turned 7 months. We're hoping to be in before he's mobile. Which plot have you reserved? And gemhopper good luck to you too. Maybe we should put up a united front? Solidarity and all that

A united front sounds good. I've just had a response saying that Harron head office is chasing it and they should know more Monday!
Cheers Gemma

We are plot 236,having the same problems, although Sue rang me this evening to say they are expecting the title deeds this week, although I'm not that convinced! Did anyone else get this call? Not really expecting to be in before Christmas though, as our house (and the one attached) is way behind all the others near by, the roof wasn't even started a week ago! I did notice a few weeks ago when we went by, that there were pallets of roof materials for our plot, with stickers on saying replacement, so I'm assuming the materials were damaged some how!

Hi Hannah We went to our plot today (238) and your roof is on just needs its roof beams finishing and tiling. I would send you a picture but it won't let me attach it. Cheers Gemma

Hi loobin88, I have also spoken to sales office today and they have still kept to their completion date of 18th Dec., though I can't see it. This photo is what I took last Tuesday. My plot is 218 (neighbour) and is the one with the roof joists. Unfortunately yours is behind that mound of rubble. Sales have told me today that the roof is now tiled(!) Yours should be not far behind.

Hi Doob, thanks for the picture we haven't be able to get across for weeks so it is good to see progress. Although I agree there is no way these are going to be ready in 4 weeks there is a hell of a lot to do (unless they have a magic wand)
