Hi everyone...I'm Natalie, my husband Jonathan and I have plot 205. I think we would also be up for extending our driveway if you guys wouldn't mind sharing your info with us! Nice to speak to you all!!!

Hi everyone. Our provisional move date is 18th November and drinks sound great! I'm a little bit concerned about some of the bad reviews Harrow have had on the forum but I'm just saying to myself that that's the nature of forums. People tend to seek them out when they want to moan! We are still really looking forward to moving in, we expect a few snags but hopefully nothing major and that can't be resolved.
Jordan - has meeting the site manager being beneficial in any way? Just wondering if we ought to show our faces now! We'd like to get the kitchen fitters to fit a rotating shelf in one of the cupboards and wondered if we could sort this through the site manager.
Looking forward to meeting you all!

P.s. We are also thinking about extending our driveway so maybe a group discount is in order if we can find the right person 😀

We will be extending or drive but I think you need planning permission first (which is a pain ) we are going to try and get the blocks through harron so we can match up

Hi all, am I the only one who got a phone call on Friday to say my completion date has gone back? They had been saying build completion on 10 November, legal completion 25th but everything's now gone back a fortnight meaning it's going to be 9 December before I move in 😌. It's getting too close to Christmas for comfort I think!

Hi Claire You should be in a week before us then if all goes to plan. I wouldn't worry too much regarding the reviews. If you look at some of the reviews on TW and Barratt they have all had similar issues. If you look at how many people have had real serious problems they are a (very unfortunate) minority. Just like yourselves we are also expecting a few snags but hopefully nothing too serious. Neil the site manager is bang on. I'd definitely recommend meeting him when possible. I reckon the sooner you tell him about what you want to do with the kitchen the better the chances are of him getting it you done. The double drive! It's the first thing I plan to do upon moving in. Chris who is moving directly across road also wants to extend his drive. The cheapest I've seen it for so far is £600. Getting some sort of multiple drive discount I reckon is certainly possible and I think we should push for it. The only frustrating stumbling block so far that I've found out is that you need planning permission. I'm going to do some more digging and will keep you posted. Many thanks Jordan

Congratulations on your exchange Jordan..😊 looks like you'll be in way before me, despite me having exchanged on 1 July!! Anyway, it's because the house isn't ready basically, my build completion was scheduled for 10 November with a moving in date of 25th (both had already gone back a month) but now everything has slipped two weeks. I had assumed they were just generally behind but pleased to hear it's not a streetwide problem. I'm just hoping there are no further delays though - it's been 6 months since I reserved, and more importantly I'm a bit concerned about the pre Christmas move date stories from last year!! 😱

We spoke to site office on Friday and they didn't mention any delay to us so I'm still assuming completion date will be 18th November. Fingers crossed!

Thanks Jordan. I'll get my husband on the case to see to site manager!
Keep us posted about the driveway as we are definitely interested in this and the sooner we can get it done, the better.

I was speaking to an electrician a couple of weeks ago who's been on Waverley right from the beginning. He said that they learnt a hard lesson from last year. It was a different site manager then who got certain things wrong. He didn't go into too much detail but he basically alluded to the fact that it was a one off. On the positive side at least you can be confident to say that time and effort is going into your property. 😊
