I've never met click1985 but it is disappointing and sad to see this level of abuse being aimed at someone on the forum. It can't be pleasant for her to have read that statement.

I doubt Click1985 is bothered over the statement as they are just trolls , i wouldnt blame her if she did take Harron homes for thousands, Haven't they done that to her and everyone else they have shamed.

Well one thing is for sure YOU my dear aren't his priority. And by the way he does live on the estate I've seen him go into the sales office late one night and do compound checks late at night in a white Range Rover..... I remember reading this post a few months ago, I would just like to put it out there that we have a white Land Rover but do not have any thing to do with any of the Harron home or any of the owners/executives, chief or otherwise. We've had a few issues with various things happening to our vehicles since the original post. We've spoken to the police several times and have been advised to keep an eye out just in case it's mistaken identity, especially due to us being near the show homes. We really do hope it is just kids being mischievous, annoying as it is, and not vindictive people living in our community taking things into their own hands.

Crikey , I don't know how I have ended up on this forum as I haven't bought a Harron Home. Never the less I have and after reading some of these posts I find it sad that so many new owners deontology realise the amount of things that can and do got wrong during the building process. High volume construction is fraught with difficulties. We have the British weather for starters along with many items made of timber which is a natural product and goes its own way during the long drying out process. Having worked in the construction industry for 40 years AND managed sites for Persimmon, Barratt, Ideal homes and Redrow. I can assure you all that Harron homes are no worse than the rest. I have seen Harron homes first hand. Finally, in my experience the most productive approach is to be patient, proactive and considerate with site management and accept that EVERY house will NEVER be perfect. NB I am also a registered personally with NHBC.

I agree with not kicking off when you have so much to lose, you'd be just shooting yourself in the foot. However, the negative posts for Harron far outweigh the other two builders and that can't be a fluke. Harron put far too much time pressure on their contractors meaning corners are cut. You only have to look at how many more houses they've built than TW and Barratt. Also the fact they've been through about half a dozen site managers hasn't helped.

Hi I am in the process or buying a Harron home built June 2015 so 4 years old.
I have been reading many posts on this forum about poor customer service / build delays etc from Harron but not so much on the general quality / the reality of living in a Harron home.
For everyone who loves Waverley there is an alternate who says its built on dubious foundation and all the comments about sinking into the old mines etc, much of which I will take with a pinch of salt. I love the many positive aspects of living in the community that is Waverley, just the naysayers make me nervous
I wondered if there was any feedback specifically on the build quality 4 years on that might help me to be more confident about the purchase and the remaining NHBC cover etc.
Final point - the postings sseem to be all 2016 / 2017 - so any new experiences?

We are 6 1/2 years in and have no problems regarding the build, we did have small snagging which took about 18months to resolve. You might be best looking on facbook for the Waverley residence page

Hi, Their are lots of what seem quite negative reviews circulating in regards to Harron Homes, but non really relate to buying a used property. I would suggest that a used property will have very little wrong with it as the works should have been carried out. The original owner would have had to have gone thru the stressful parts to rectify the faults. Lots of reviews on the new builds on trustpilot, facebook, twitter and www.myharronhome.co.uk
