This is disgusting and we have had problems but nothing like yours. I have written to our MP and written to Head Office with little or no response. Russ Carr the Contracts Manager is a joke and should be fired.

click1985 very sorry to hear about all your troubles. what legal steps or action have you taken with Harron? After what you have described it sounds like you have a lot of reason to do so.

They only thing with it being on here it's not getting to enough to of those ppl who are signing up for homes. Xx it's horrendous how they treat ppl and your right they don't care about ppl or the issues with the house. I'm sorry that you got conned into staying. And just remember that the warranty is part of the consumer code. They need taking down a peg or two... Xx

Russ Carr the Contracts Manager was telling people that one of the owners lives on Waverley. However he is trying to keep it quiet according to Russ and you need to look for a new white Range Rover.

click1985 sounds terrible. My advice for what it's worth is it sounds like you have more than enough justification to take a legal stance and I'm sure a deal with a solicitor could be worked out on a no win no fee basis or even a cost share until the costs (and compensation) are recovered. It also sounds like a great case study for media exposure. Drum up noise by printing and handing out flyers in front of sales offices on busy Saturday's and Sunday's until Harron respond and fix all problems. I'm sure that would motivate them. Personally I have to say I have had no major gripes at all with our Harron home and although the customer service is absolutely terrible without question because we haven't had any real need to use them (apart from minor snags) it's not been a problem. I do however think that your case is terrible and I can only imagine the stress. For that reason I would for sure have done the above if I was in the same situation.

Am sorry to hear it Mrs. It's a real shame that they have made you feel like that. In a funny sort of way am glad that they cancelled my sale now it's like it was meant to be be but I must admit they tried to bully me into moving in and getting it all sorted in the same way. I just decided that I wasn't going to be bullied. Xxx

Has anyone or a group who have purchased a Harron home thought about picketing the Harron office at the weekend to warn prospective customers of the dangers involved if they buy from Harron?

It's probably worth either; 1) Sitting outside the marketing office one Saturday and deterring new customers. Maybe calling local press... 2) Creating our own radio advert to counter market the one on local Capital FM. 3) Turn up at head office in Leeds en mass.

Harron Homes are Cowboys
No one should buy a house from this sham of a company!
Buy at your own risk!!

OR..... just knock on Mr Harrisson's door as contracts manager Russ Carr told us he lives on the estate.
I think for the amount of money we've all paid for our homes, someone needs to be held accountable!

Mr Harrison senior who is a partner does live on the estate, however, he wants to keep it quiet.

Well one thing is for sure YOU my dear aren't his priority. And by the way he does live on the estate I've seen him go into the sales office late one night and do compound checks late at night in a white Range Rover.....

Well Mr Harrison senior needs to have a good look around him and see whats happening. The company won't be going much longer. Half of Harron Homes have either quit, been sacked or gone on the sick. They are definitly sinking. Id be ashamed if I was him! Check out Harron Homes on companies house.... (you can see their full accounts for free). I'm afraid they won't be sinking any time soon, and I'm afraid I think they will be going for a long long time... and making many more millions over the next few years :-)

People still keep buying their houses though don't they! You pay your money you take your choice. I'm afraid the warning signs were already there a long time before your house was built click1985, on this very forum. So Paul is right. In fact they should be even more successful. The asking price for our house is now £50k more than it was when we bought it and I doubt they would have paid that much more (if anything) for the land per m2.

But my point being that all this crap management as you say is not harming them as people keep buying their houses. The only way they're likely to wake up and smell the coffee is if someone does something about it, such as like you're doing taking them to court, going to the press or just not buying houses in the first place.
