Has anyone else had problems with smoke alarms randomly going off? Within the last 3 weeks they've been going off randomly but last night they went off at 10pm and again this morning at 7:30. Woke us all up and they take ages to turn off because they're hard wired in and linked so don't know which was was set off. Pressing the button does nothing so we have to furiously waft a cushion under it.
Going to email customer services but just wondered whether anyone else had this problem?

Yeah!! Got back home this afternoon and it was going off! Might have to take the lump hammer to it. Then again I'll probably just disconnect it

Mine went off last week owing to burning bacon, and it took an age to stop beeping. I wondered if it was faulty?

It was a faulty chef.
It beeped for an hour and no end of waving cushions at it had an effect.

Press the button, don't hold it down. It should stop after a few seconds.
