I thought he was an ok bloke, while he does use a hard tacktick to sell locks it does get straight to the point of how easy it is to get into someone's property and scary and everyone should be more wise about it. The locks Harron use are useless. If you can fit yourself then change them straight away I would as Harron haven't given any thought into safety of properties on here, your more likely to get burgled than have a fire or your toddler turn the lock and run off.
If you haven't got dogs then get alarms and get geared up as here is where they all come for a look round.

He is scaremongering to some extent, and that's not everyone's cup of tea even if it has any element of truth in it.
The security fitted as standard on the estate is far better than many older homes, and is secured by design approved. I know it's not as secure as many alternative options (there is always something better) but to be honest criminals will get in if they want to, even houses this guys worked on. Burgalars will also research areas, maybe even read forums, which is why I prefer it personally if people don't strongly criticise security on the forum or discuss or exaggerate weaknesses, as it could be noted on what is a public forum... Most crooks will be local, but again that's just my opinion.
On the locksmith front, one thing for me is that I don't like people cold calling and selling on the door step, it's not for me, post a flyer maybe but I don't want a doorstep lecture from a stranger personally, especially if they are being funny with those who do not buy.

I think you're hit the nail on the head there... It's the 'cold calling knocking on Door' stuff that I'm not keen on.

He's been to our house 3 times now. Each time I tell him we don't need his services. I find it really rude that he's walking around houses hes already been too.
