Good afternoon
I would like to attend (as would my husband) if you still have places available.

Although I think all of the forum/community stuff is undoubtedly a good idea, I do have concerns that a resident's association will potentially add a layer of bureaucracy that could potentially impede development. I think we need a terms of reference to establish the scope and perhaps bear in mind that not everyone on the estate is on here and has expressed a view. You're right in that not everyone on the estate has expressed their view but everyone has had the opportunity. Based on the results of the vote which was a unanimous YES, I do believe this represents the views of the vast majority of people living at Waverley. I'm not convinced it's necessary especially considering that we have a project in place to manage the estate for us and that they are doing quite a good job. Actually, there have been a number of complaints sent to Harworth Estates regarding the maintenance fee from people who don't see the value in it, some of which have been quite aggressive. At the moment, we have no input on what Harworth spend the maintenance fee on. A residents association could change that. Unfortunately I can't come on thurs as I have no childcare and Sam is not the sort of resident who can sit quietly for more than 3 minutes. Will there be a readout of the meeting? I will post minutes of the meeting.

Unfortunately I don't get home until 6.30 at the earliest so won't be able to make the meeting but I will be interested to hear the outcome. Thanks.

Hi
I'd like to attend
Also, many thanks for organising this. It's really good that residents have a voice and a potential input into the future of our community.

Hi Rich, My neighbours on both sides of me wish to attend but are unable to request a place themselves as they are both waiting for internet connection. How are we doing with numbers? Julie

So far we have 16. I'm just waiting to hear back from Duncan on how many we can accommodate.

I can confirm that everyone who has requested a place will be able to attend, but I will now have to draw the line as we have hit the maximum number of people the meeting room can hold.
Please be at the playground for 5.40pm. We will set off walking at 5.45pm. For anyone going straight there, there is a temporary reception at the back of the Technology Centre. Go into the main car park and follow it round the side of the building to the back. It is clearly signposted.
See you then.

Rich, my apologies but I'm not going to get away from the office (Wrexham) in the next hour so going to struggle. If someone would wish to attend in my place please do so. Sorry again.
