Did anyone receive any communications from Harron Homes informing them that Bradfield Way would be blocked off before it happened?
I've come home from work just now and I couldn't get to my home because of the road block. I had to turn around and drive out of Waverley and drive back in to Waverley and Bradfield Way through the Handsworth entrance. Which incidentally, the back entrance of Bradfield Way was blocked off last week without prior notification meaning I had to take the detour around Waverley in the opposite direction. Harron have caught me out twice now.
No big deal with the 5 minute detour both times but it is slightly frustrating that Harron don't appear to communicate, at all.

Nope, we had nothing and went down it Tuesday and as you say they had moved it further up. I did think 2 road closed signs would have been really useful.

They surfaced my driveway exit without telling me just as we were leaving to go to hospital as my wife was in labour, I was furious and had a right go at them so they purposefully blocked my drive with their cars and vans for the next few days until I threatened to call the police, they made what should have been a fantastic moment in life a nightmare!

I live in the cul-de-sac that has recently been block paved - I received no written notice at all. Luckily my wife spoke to the workmen one morning and she was advised to get the cars out of the cul de sac unless we wanted our cars to be trapped in there for 3 days!

That's terrible, have you made a formal complaint. Many Congratulations on your new arrival!

Parnell - congratulations! But that's shocking from the builders!
I'm slightly dreading when they decide to surface our road as I don't imagine they'll give much (if any) warning.

They did knock on at least 2 doors before deciding to just crack on

We had a weeks' notice via a leaflet through the door (we are TW) from the contractor doing the work themselves. Even if TW are responsible it's not them that do the work.
The contractor that did our end of the estate was Gary Fletcher surfacing. Not sure if the same company are doing the Harron end?
Shocking that they've not given you notice. Not only is it courteous to do so it's bloody common sense!
