Hey, congrats its a very exciting experience. We spent a lot of time visiting to look our houses progress.
The hebden is a lovely house. We moved in a couple of months ago and have found the space works really well for us. Downstairs we have a reasonable sized table with 2 benches and 2 sofas facing each other with a coffe table as a social space for when people come round. Then we have the lounge with a massive comfy sofa and big tv. Bit like a cinema room. Master bedroom is a good size but we struggled for where to put a chest of draws as we have a king sized bed. We opted for some wall mounted draw things from Ikea mounted insude the fitted wardrobe then a small dressing table next to the wardrobes.
Kitchen space is slightly limited, by the time you take out the dishwasher, washing machine and boiler you only have a couple of cupboards left. But we get by. We have a small side unit we use for alcohol and glasses.
Bedrooms 1 and 2 are a good size, bedroom 2 actually feels massive as it doesnt have the fitted wardrobe or the door to the bathroom. When we finally unpack we might rearrange it a bit.
We have the thinner of the 2 left as an office and we use the otherone to keep our cats out the way when people come round / workmen are around.
As far as Harron goes, its a bit of good and bad. I have found the people on site to be really good. Our site manager Niel and Dale the handy man are bloody amazing. However I have found the customer services team to be woeful/aweful/dreadful/useless! Im starting to get the impression that everyones experiences are different though. We didnt have any major problems, just lots of little ones that are slowly getting fixed.

Hi So nice of you replying me in detail. Thanks a lot. It's given me bit of idea as it's difficult to imagine how big house would be when they got no show home for hebden. Can you please tell me what optional extras you selected and is it worth getting from Harron homes or better to get it done privately also how much council tax do you pay. Thanks and look forward to join a great community

Based on my own experience, in hindsight I would not have had any extras, I would have dealt with everything myself upon completion. The extras have just delayed things for us,and it is impossible to get any money back, even for the things they can't source.
Of course, not every case is like this, I am sure some people have had things go well.
In my opinion, most of the extras are stupidly over priced anyway, and of a quality lower than my expectation. Again, only my own opinion.

Extras we had outside socket and water round the back (note that the standard location is on the side) full tiling in the ensuite which was worth every penny! A 300mm massive rain shower again for me personally was worth every penny. And finally we went with the shower upgrade for the main bathroom for when we have visitors.

We have the integrated dishwasher and wish we had got the integrated washing machine. You loose a lot of space though. We decided against the fridge freezer as it was 1100 and we got a massive american style one for about 800. Sound system is an interesting choice. Have you thought about something like a sonos system instead. Much more state of the art in my opinion. www.sonos.com

Thanks never hear abou sonos system interesting I will read about it. Thanks for sharing the link. Yes space in kitchen is an issue between me and my spouse as he believes that having integrated stuffs in kitchen we will loose a lot of space and integrated things are difficult to get fix if something goes wrong. Where we living now we got big kitchen so difficult to imagine how big the new kitchen would be. I wish on google I can find some pics of hebden houses already been built but never mine will see. Thanks again for all your suggestions it's been really helpful Much appreciated

Hi, I wouldn't go for the double oven, it's rubbish. I love the dishwasher but regret the lack of cupboard space. We have 1 full size base cupboard 1 narrow base cupboard 3 base drawers 6 very slim top cupboards. Having said that, the house itself is plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Oh and 2 dogs You are welcome to come and have a look round to get a better idea of size.
