Does any one know how long the warranty is on the door locks for Harron homes. Also has anyone's garage door gone cloudy?? I've emailed Harron and they have said they can't help as our warranty ran out in April this year. I seem to remember Ann telling us we had 5 year warranty with everything when we moved in. . Does any body know different before I email customer services back.

Harron are 2 year warranty so looks like you're screwed on a warranty claim. Locks are easy to replace though and you can get a good one for £40. Nothing wrong with our garage door.

Thanks rich! That's Just saved me venting some frustrations in an email to them. Looks like I'll be painting the garage door this weekend.

Hi Sam I replaced the lock barrels that Harron supplied with extra security ones that also removed the indoor thumb key knob.

Yeah I bought mine from B&Q, the one I went for was around £50-60. Next time I pop around I can show you how to do it.

We got the high security locks from B&Q, (£40 each, with 3 keys) my husband says they were easy enough to fit. He has replaced both the front and back door locks in a few minutes. They are a lot better quality then the original locks we had and no thumb turn so a lot more secure.
