With a move in date of 16th October Harron have called today to say we need to move the dates back 1 week. We have handed out rental notice in due to the dates not moving for weeks. Solicitors won't agree a supplemental as it is "too far in advance" I am not sure how 3 weeks it's too far in advance. Anyone else having/ had last minute problems. So angry!

Go to the show homes and tell them that you have given notice and unless it is completed you will be homeless. We did that and they got ours finished (ish) for when we needed. You can't get a supplemental until it has been signed off with a CML, which is 2 weeks before you move in.

I have told them that we will be homeless, the advice given was to request a supplemental.

We were shown around our plot by the very helpful and informative assistant site manager Jason this Wed 23 Sept so that he could explain to us in detail a few alterations they have had to make to our apartment. The next day we received a phone call from the sales office to arrange our demonstration day (snag finding day !! ) but at the same time were told our move in date had been put back another week until 30 Oct. Whilst not totally happy with the further delay at least we are lucky enough that my parents have been able to put us up until we can eventually move in. Hope there's no further delays as our mortgage offer expires late in November and Harron have been advised of this. Just want to move in now because getting fed up of waiting !!

Received a supplemental agreement from solicitor this morning confirming that contract completion on our apartment will definitely be on 30 October. At long last we can see the light at the end of what's seemed a very long tunnel. Waverley here we come !!

Are you moving into the Hanley block? We had a letter from the solicitor last week giving us a fixed move in date of 30th October. I received a phone call today from the site office to say the move in date has been pushed back again due to structural work to the downstairs wc that needs doing in all the properties. Has anyone else had the same call?

We are moving into the apartment in the middle of the Hanley block. It was explained to us that the location of the soil pipe for our down stairs wc required a slight alteration when Jason showed around the other week. We haven't had any phone call ( yet !!! ). Won't be very happy if they do ring us to put our date back again. What new date did they give you ?

We had a call yesterday re the wc, how has nobody noticed this until now? We are moving in on the 16th and they called to say they would have to put us up in a hotel but could not tell us when or for how long for, we are going down on Thursday to have a look at the walls etc, to see if it is liveable or we want it doing, my concern is the living room being smaller! What plot no are you Lizabeth? X

We are moving into plot 165. She said it would be sometime in November now but couldn't give us a date. To be honest she couldn't tell us much but said someone would be back in touch. I am also concerned about losing living room space and I have absolutely no idea how this has only just been picked up. When we went down last week to look at the development we were able to see that they had fitted the kitchen, all the downstairs internal doors etc so why they didn't know then I do not know!?. Have they given you an option laura? What plot are you? I won't be able to get down before the weekend so I'd be interested to see what they say to you. Steve, I don't know if it will affect you as you're in the apartment. Fingers crossed for you, when we saw you at the property months ago you were telling us you had to move out of your house in August, how have you been coping? Fortunate for us we are part exchanging but I know the girl buying our's is not happy.

We are 162 so the first one, she said they would have to put us up in a hotel but couldn't give us any dates or length of time, I said what if we don't want it doing and she said they could compensate us in another way. I will take some photos on Thursday and upload them to here if I can if not I may have to email them to you.

A hotel? What are you suppose to do with all your stuff? See, they've not said that to us. I think I need to get down there soon as. That would be amazing if you could. I'll send you my email address.

Yeah that's what I thought plus we have a dog too so what do we do with her and food travel etc, very inconvenient!! Our stuff just keep it there while they disrupt our lives haha.
