Hi I am just wondering if anybody else has had any problems with Harron and dates, we reserved a Hanley in March and was told our original move in date was 31/07 after several push backs we are now on 02/10. Has any body else experienced this problem, we have also found we never get a reasonable explanation why, I get that there are always problems with new builds but to me Harron don't seem to mind upsetting us.

We are having the same problem. Just had a call today to tell us that the completion date for our apartment has also been put back to 2 Oct. Building work on the block of which we are in the middle seems to go through phases where very little progress seems evident . For several weeks now we have had windows fitted on the first floor level but still no sign of any windows being fitted to the second floor.

We are the first Hanley, It's an absolute joke, and we can't even get it fixed which is no help to us as we need to give 30days notice, Harron don't seem to really care about the extra costs to us now they have our money ha. Just want to move.

They were working in your house yesterday Laura. The plasterer was there for several hours and worked right up to the downstairs window. No window in there yet though.

We had the same problem with Barratts. Original completion date given as January 2015, kept getting put back, without explanation. Finally completed 31st April 2015!

We had a similar call today. Apparently Harron are now saying they don't expect to finish working on our apartment until 9 Oct meaning we won't be expecting to move in until at least 23 Oct , a further 3 weeks from what we were told previous. Reason given for delay was something about traders not providing materials / services as quickly as expected !!

Apparently something to do with materials, always some sort of excuse,
