All,
It looks like La Liga (Barca\Real Madrid) will be going to BT Sport for the upcoming season due to SKY dropping out of the tendering process. SKY have had the Spanish League for 20 years but due to them overpaying (£4.2 billion\£11 million per game) on Premier League rights for the next 3 seasons they cant afford to fight BT this time.
Live football on BT Sport this season (Subscription for full sports package on BT is £5 if you have BT BB, if not then its £19.99 to watch BT Sport on SKY)
• 42 Premier League games • FA Cup (shared with BBC) • Champions League • Europa League • La Liga • Serie A • Bundesliga 1 & 2 • Ligue 1 • Portugal’s Primeira Liga • Swiss Super League • Brazilian football • Australian A-League • Scottish Premiership and Football League (shared with Sky) • Vanarama English National League • Womens Premier League
Live football on Sky Sports this season (Subscription for full sports package on SKY is £25.50)
• 126 Premier League games • Euro 2016 qualifiers (shared with ITV) • Football League • Capital One Cup • Football League Trophy • Scottish Premiership and Football League (shared with BT) • MLS • Dutch Eredivisie

Yep La Liga eventually went to SKY even though they backed out of the bidding process. A contract was being written up with BT but somehow SKY still ended up with it. Apparently the Spanish rights holders are a bit dodgy.
