Hi all I was just wondering if any TW residents have this problem? Both myself and a neighbour have this problem in the downstairs drains the kitchen and downstairs shower. according to the plumber on site the drains are designed to retain a small amount of water to prevent back ups but whatever I do I can't get rid of the smell.

Yes, I live in a TW property and would agree with this, in fact I've looked on here before I see if anyone else had this problem. About a week ago they really smelled, and we had to open the doors and windows.

It's horrendous isn't it. I've taken to bleaching mine last thing at night. No problem with the upstairs drains just the downstairs shower and sink/washing machine in the kitchen
