I'm sure you won't , but seriously p99ull has just started cookery lessons last week and he was saying to me that he may pm you about this group as he's keen to get something started ..also maybe you can pm Chris 1983 and maybe recruit him to get him off my back as he keeps bugging me to go round to his to help him with his 4000 piece jigsaw ... He bloody loves jigsaws , maybe a knitting / cooking/ jigsaw club .... Just a suggestion

Just a suggestion I hardly keep bugging you, I just mentioned it once as you said you were bored at home and you like trains and trainspotting and at the time I was completing a rare steam train themed puzzle. Was just trying to be nice, I won't bother next time :-(

So.......to get back on topic. How about the last week in August as a first meet for the book club? Anyone any ideas about books? If any day is best for anyone, let me know. I would like to put forward to the book Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier.

Are we going for any genre of books in particular? Or a random mixture?

I would suggest random mix, however if it turns out we all like the same genre then we could go for one genre?
What genres does everyone like to read? And what is everyone's favorite book? That might help us with setting up the group.
I read a good mix of everything....however favorite books have to be the Discworld books! Also Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen are on my favorites list!
