Just thought I'd share the love for Taylor Wimpey, especially for anyone reading this forum who is buying or planning on buying with them. The whole process from start to finish has been a total and utter pleasure. From the girls in the sales office (special mentions to Clare and Roxy) to the site managers (Nathan and Simon), they have gone above and beyond to make sure our experience has been one to remember. Their passion for doing a great job is there in abundance. We moved in last Friday and we absolutely love it! Our snag list (and I know there's still time for more to crop up) currently consists of: - A chip in the paint on one of the window sills
- A chip in one of the cupboard doors in the kitchen
...but to be honest they weren't even worth mentioning on here because they've actually been and dealt with the paint chip this morning and a new kitchen unit door has been ordered.
All in all though, if anyone is planning on buying with TW, I wouldn't hesitate in giving them a glowing endorsement. Fantastic experience and we are looking forward to making some great memories in our new home.

Sounds like we've have been the unlucky ones with TW, the sales office were great. But as soon as we moved in we had over 20 things in our snag list, 3 months later they have been more or less sorted after much stress however at least another 10 have came about. We aren't ultra perfectionist and these are not small issues. Site office now ignore all are calls, we took our complaints to the manager in the customer services office one week later no reply.. Our 10 additional issues were raised nearly a month ago now. It's nice to hear they aren't like this with everyone

Can I just ask how long it took you to get stuff fixed. We've been here just over 2 months and still waiting for pretty much all of our snagging to be done. We have a chip on our porch and pointed it out 2 weeks before we moved it...still not fixed! Chipped cupboard and chipped door, broken door handle all mentioned over a month ago and still waiting, we have to wrestle with our bedroom door every morning to get out and even had to shout my other half to help a few times as I was trapped in lol! We asked about having our washing line nearly 4 weeks ago and pit stones out like they asked... We're still waiting... surely acquiring and installing a washing line isn't a 4 week process! Also during the familiarisation the guy showing us around circled several pain issues around the house so now we've been stuck with paint scuffs with pen circles around them for over 2 months! Sorry just needed to vent! Glad some people have had better service than this!

Hi Meg, we also had the same issue. I would get in touch with claire and ask for the customer services contact details and write to them or email them. They get straight in touch with site office as they try and rectify your issue swiftly! That worked for us anyway and when they still failed to finish some snags we continued to contact customer services complaining and they finally sorted our issues with a but of compo for inconvenience

If not I will just ring claire. We moved in on the 29th of may and still havent got very far with snagging unfortunately. We're a bit sick of chasing them now especially when we pointed out some of the issues weeks before we even moved in :/
