Hi,
Does anyone know which company installs the HH burglar alarms? I am just wanting to ask a few questions before paying for this as an extra with HH.
Thanks!

Ask for Pet Sensors if you have a pet as they arent standard. Ask for garage and patio door connected to alarm too.

Thanks very much teddyowner and @anonymous. @anonymous - you said you had the patio doors connected to the alarm, do you mean you got the door contacts fitted to them? This is what we want to do aswell.

Ask for Pet Sensors if you have a pet as they arent standard. It's easier to just get rid of your pet! We have a pet sensor that seems to be faulty and keeps setting the alarm off during the night. Apologies if it's woken anyone up.

Or get a proper alarm company (HH just use their electrical contractors) with the additions you want and a maintenance contract for the same price as HH

if you get a proper alarm company to fit the alarm after you've moved in won't there be wires showing all over the house? or can they hide them easily?

This is what we want to do aswell. No we havent got patio contacts ... we didnt realise it didnt come as standard, same with the garage doors. We have been quoted £300 to get wireless contacts fitted that link to the main alarm.

If that was yours at 3am this morning then I accept you apology! Probably. I must have been in a deep sleep cos I didn't know what the hell was going on when the missus was shouting at me! I've reported it to HH.

I concur, pet senses are less than useless, I have a small dog that can trigger the sensor every time at £40 a pop I wish I hadn't bothered.
