Can we really be this poor the premier league and other leagues produce top footballers and games to watch
surely oh surely can we not sort this out
to think I've spent thousands going to watch this in the vain hope we might get there one day,keep dreaming hey guys

The problem is that the football leagues in this country (particularly prem) are full of foreign talent. Means high quality English players don't get as much of a look in!

They get paid millions from club football and nothing for the national team. I always wonder if they are worried to give 100% in case they get injured.

International players do get paid, the level depends on the ranking of the game, but England players generally donate it to charity. Injury I imagine would be on their mind, especially in the friendlies, but you would hope and expect the players give their all in competition when pulling on the 3 Lions. I love watching England but they can be massively frustrating! Pity the WG has no TV as the missus is a rugby fan and just doesn't get all the rolling around!!
