It had occured to me that some people here might have already chosen the extras we are thinking about. If you have any of the below, would be amazing if you could post (or send to me privately) pics. 1. We are looking at the shower upgrade for the main bathroom. It includes tiling, shower and screen. Harron cant tell me what the screen will be like. 2. 300mm rain shower (Really excited about getting this!!!) 3. A kitchen like one of the showhomes. It would be nice to see what this looks like lived in, without the fancy tiles and shed loads of lighting. Ivory gloss with light wood top as in pic. 4. Anyone that has these linos. A grey square pattern fake stone, 2 lined patterns one blue silver and one black silver as in pictures. First 2 in the lino pack. 5. The japan tiles, light and dark. 6. The middle tile of the others, its a light grey. Madagascar natural I think its called. 7. Finally this will seem like a random one, but whats the bath like in the newly built houses? Is it centre tap or to one side? Obviously your not mind readers so put some pics help my terrible description! Pics here

Hi nowait We've got the same kitchen with a karndean wood effect floor and those tiles in all our bathrooms, full walls in the main bathroom and half tiling in the ensuite and cloakroom, looks nice. Our tap is on the front corner of the bath, the baths are very shallow like hotel baths to meet the green requirements but if you are really lucky they won't have any onsite and you'll get a proper bath fitted. Pm me your email and I'll send you a pic. Only regrets in the kitchen are upgrading to a double oven, I don't rate zanussi and wish I'd waited until the warranty expired and bought exactly what I wanted instead, also paying for the under lights that we've only had on once. I've bought polished chrome sockets to fit myself (qualified sparky) to set the kitchen off properly and judging by the amount of paint thrown all over the plastic ones it was right to retro fit them.

Thanks teddyowner, got the pics and they are really helpful.
Out of curiosity, you said that you got an extra wall unit. Was it the same make as the rest of the kitchen and if so where did you get it from? We were thinking about some of the extra lift up ones for the back wall of our kitchen.
Thanks for the advice on the oven too, I was thinking about getting the double but just wasnt sure.

It's Lincolnshire kitchens that supply Harron, you'll see the vans on here once you move in, we did it over the phone and they can tell you what range units and the handles you have from the plot number. It's from a range by the omega kitchens group as they delivered it direct to us on their own vehicle.

We've got the hansgrohe rain shower and it's great although apparently it's not great for women when they don't want to get their hair wet! Also have the shower upgrade in the main bathroom. The screen is just glass and as teddy said it's a corner tap. The lino is fine but it wasn't fitted particularly well.

As an aside, in retrospect I would've asked if they could've moved the overspill plug (sorry I know that can't be it's proper name) in the bath. As the baths look lovely and deep but are deceiving. I don't get the luxury of a bath that often and am always disappointed.

They also put a block on how hot the bath water can be (again health and safety gone mad) but you can change this by taking the panel off and amending the hot water feed.

Hi all, new to here! Looking to buy in summer but wondered about extras. What flooring comes as standard or are they bare floorboards? It says kitchen uplighters are standard yet they're an upgrade too. I've seen ceiling, under top cupboards and around bases. Which are included? What's the standard shower and screen like in the main bathroom? Does turf come as standard? Does anyone have a breakfast bar? What cupboard, worktop and tile choices are standard. Thanks in advance and welcome any pics! Read more: waverley.proboards.com/thread/245/optional-extras?page=1#ixzz3qkE6dK00
