I'm not sure if it's common in new houses, but we have really squeaky floor boards on the landings. It's pretty annoying, as we've only been in two weeks I'd have expected it later on?
Just wondered if it's normal? Or if it shouldn't be squeezing yet?

i would say its not normal....i would report it as its a pain to fix, carpets up and screw down etc. better to get Haron to do if you've only been in two weels.
our previous house had really squeaky floorboard's but it was 60years old so you just accept it, no excuse on a new build in 2015

My attic room creaks a little and little bits here and there , I don't think anyone is going to have a creak free home , I don't think its possible as the the home is one big consumable, wear and tear

Wait until you get a leak! This is my first new build home and when I first moved in I wanted to keep it as new as I could for as long as I could but with 2 small children this was impossible , so I was stressing myself out about stains on carpets , dinks in walls and skirting until one day I thought ' sod it ' it's a family home and it needs to be used as one , my point is even tho it's new don't chase perfection because you will never find it , my home has a few issues nothing major but the odd creaking floor and the cracks for me are part of the package , if you get HH to fix you creak rest assured another will come along with the amout of use the home gets , you go into any show home and they'll be at least one creak ,,,,,, just enjoy your home for what it is

I guess it needs quantifying
A slight creak, yes I agree with you nick
A really bad creak that can be heard around the house every time someone walks on it shouldn't be there in my opinion.

I enjoy it, like I've said before it's awesome ' I'm so happy ! The flat we used to rent had a night creak upstairs and loved been away from it ! It's like it's haunting me hahah ! I'm sure I'll move on and forget about it, as long as I only live downstairs hahahaha

We had a bad creak, got Harron to put extra screws in the floor, but that didn't fix it. They came back again and put extra screws in the ceiling below the creak and that sorted it.

If your not happy with something tell them. I wouldn't worry about it, it's what customer service is there for.

WE had a creak on the landing and Harron fixed it, so I would report it.
