it's a lot quieter in the sales offices

I know it's only anecdotal but the sales offices don't seem as busy as they were 12 months ago when we were putting our deposit down....maybe it's uncertainty caused by an imminent general election...and here is Taylor Wimpey confirming a slowing of activity though dressing it up as a 'good thing'.

Probably, at least on Barratt's part, they have few houses left to sell now and are winding down to move to their next phase. I think Barratt only have a couple of houses left on the original site. They seem pretty busy down at their new showroom office.

True, Barratts have 5 houses left to sell on this development.

This is not my experience at all.  The office was really really busy in the run up the xmas.  I've been in twice since xmas, last time was today and it was RAMMED with people, I couldnt get a word with Rachel so will be going back another time.

This only applies to Harron Homes, can't be sure if the others were busy...  The Barratt one never seems to have any cars in BUT they have no "big" houses left on that phase, they might be busy on the new phase though....   To say people have just spent big at xmas, I was surprised how busy Harron were....
