My mate James has just been to service our boiler tonight. If you're not already aware, boilers usually have to be serviced annually in order to maintain your manufacturers warranty.
British Gas and other energy companies typically ask for in excess of £100.
James charges £60. He's gas safe registered and is a top bloke. Of course he does other jobs as well as boiler servicing.

I've not looked at the detail but I would have thought we are covered for the first 2 years against boiler breakdown (as long as you have an annual service). Wouldn't it come under snagging?

Late response but yeah it should be covered like you say if you have it serviced annually. Thanks to everyone who has chosen James to service your boiler. We used James for our boiler service and also for a heating breakdown in our shop.
Well priced and got the heating in the shop sorted very efficiently.

James has been today to service our boiler and fit a new gas hob and we can't fault his work a really nice guy and we will definitely use him again.
