I've been thinking of putting a curtain up at the front door, more for privacy and to make it feel more cozy on these dark nights more than anything else, but I'm struggling to figure out the best way. As there is also the side panel it is too wide to buy one of the ready made door curtains. So it looks like buying a pair of curtains but then there will be a lot of material bunched up at one side as there is not enough room at both sides to have one pulled back to each side. I know I could go down the made to measure route but it seems a bit excessive for a door curtain! Any bright ideas from any of our more creative neighbours would be gratefully appreciated.

If you're worried about the amount of material bunched in a pair of curtains, why don't you just use one on its own? Get one big enough to stretch across the door and window..., less material when you pull it back?
