Hi We are not sure whether to pay for the Harron alarm, it would be great to have all the wiring done at the first fix stage but we got what is turning into the default reply from Harron when we asked about pet friendly sensors.............a big fat NO. Does anyone have any experience with one of their systems and pets? Has anyone had one retrofitted by another supplier and what was finished item like with regard to wires showing? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

We bought the alarm from Harron and they installed a pet friendly sensor as we requested. It was £40 extra. I have the receipt that I'm happy to share with you if it helps. More proof of their unhelpfulness.

Thanks Rich, we currently have pet friendly sensors and I didn't think it would be a big deal for them to specify them with their contractor pre fitting. Guess we'll have to push it a bit more.

Tell them you know someone who they've done it for

They really do seem to be getting less willing to keep customers happy with extra requests these days. I heard that they now won't allow you to upgrade to white emulsion.
All I can think, is that the site is being pressurised to get a lot of houses built before Christmas and they don't want to add any complexities.

Its daft really because if they kept customers happy then they would recommend them to others and therefore sell more houses! Surely!
We have an alarm fitted, but no pet sensors im afraid.. we didnt even think to ask!

We're with TW and weren't offered and alarm so had one fitted through someone we know, Shef-Guard - great service and really quick to fit. we didn't have pet sensors fitted but now we have 2 kittens they have been out and added them, only £20! Strongly recommend them, my family have been using them for as long as I can remember. shefguard.co.uk/
