Morning All, I hope you don't mind me posting this on here. This year 2 teams will be undertaking events in memory of Darcy Jo Burke, a 6-year old girl from Barnsley who sadly passed away in April this year 12 months after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour, namely a Diffuse Pontine Intrinsic Glioma (DPIG). Darcy was a typical young girl, who loved the colour purple, JLS, One Direction, as well as tormenting her little sister Tilly. She also loved reading, word searches, maths and being outside. The events in memory of Darcy Jo are the Tough Mudder Midlands, taking place on the 12th July in Kettering, and the Coast-2-Coast Sustrans, taking place on the 5th/6th September. www.justgiving.com/darcys-days Please take the time to read their story on the website, if you can support the Hospice and the invaluable care they provided Darcy and her family, and others, it would be warmly welcomed. This could be through donations to the site, bric-a-brac for their shops, or even just volunteering some time to support their work. Thanks for your support Dave

Morning Everyone, just a quick note to say Team Mudder Feckers completed Tough Mudder on Saturday, a fantastic well planned event, really enjoyed. We're close to £1,000 in sponsorship but still hungry for me as we prep for the Coast-2-Coast bike ride in September. Please if you can spare a few quid for a fantastic local hospice, Bluebell Wood, it would be appreciated by all. www.justgiving.com/Darcys-Daysthanks everyone and look forward to meeting you at the Gala. Evening All, Following Tough Mudder in July our 2nd challenge takes place this weekend. The C2C Sustrans from Whitehaven to Sunderland, 136 miles in 2 days on mountain bikes. This is for a fantastic local charity, Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, in memory of 6 year old Darcy Jo who lost her battle against a brain tumour at Easter. If you can support us, please do so at www.justgiving.com/Darcys-DaysThanks.
