I'll be moving into our new home soon as part of a part exchange. I've been given conflicting information about access to the new house on the day I move in (one sales executive said they would leave the garage open for me to store my stuff on the day of completion (pre completion), the other that I will have zero access until I complete.
Can I ask for your experiences of when you moved in. Did you have no access until you completed or did they leave you the garage open pre completion for you to store your stuff?
I've not been introduced to the site manager so can't ask them.
Thanks.

Good question! We're moving in at the beginning of August. It would be really handy if this is something that harron will let people do.

Harron let us use the garage from about 7am on completion day and then they let us in the house at 10am. Money went through at about 11

Barratts let us exchange and complete a day early and granted us a licence to occupy our old house that we were trading in for one extra night.
took all the stress and hassle out of moving...we collected the keys thursday afternoon and moved everything across friday. We just had to make sure that we handed the keys etc for the old place to the sales office before it closed on the friday.
might be worth asking...however this will depend on whether harron have sold your part exchanged property yet...if they have and new owners are due to move in the day you move out obviously they couldn't offer a licence to occupy.
Hope this helps
