Hi all
Driving round the estate I've noticed a lot of people have a double drive. Ive shared my frustration countless times with Harron and even Neil (site manager) at the fact that you don't get one standard. Neil told me to seek planning permission first from local council. I've been quoted £1000 to have it extended from a private company. Neil said that seemed expensive and that one of his lads could do it much cheaper.
Can anyone share their experience of getting planning permission and has anyone used Neil?
Any other rexommendations?
Many thanks
Jordan

One of his lads would be able to do it cheaper simple because they'd be using Harrons stuff which is already on site and not having to order skips and things in. £1000 is not far of the mark to be fair but it all depends how big and what materials you use.

Ours was a double drive to begin with but one of us when getting out had to stand in a flower bed. We ripped it up ourselves and continued the patio flags up alongside the drive. We used Alan & Richard for laying the flags as they were already doing our back garden. I'm sure they could do block paving as well. We extended how double drive by getting rid of the path. The company we used charged us £650. He supplied all the material. Done a great job.
