Hi
Just wondering and to get some advice really were moving to a Harron home soon. What's the normal plan for moving day? What time do you normally receive the keys? Can we move stuff into the garage before we get access to the house?
Thanks in advance

Our moving day wasn't even confirmed until the afternoon of the day before, it was completely farcical! Then we didn't get the keys until late afternoon - not helpful in anyone's circumstances. We had to call the sales office and chase them. We eventually spoke to the sales staff for the 4th or 5th time at 4pm and they then said we could come straight over and pick the keys up, so don't sit around waiting for anyone to be proactive and get in touch with you! We weren't offered the garage storage and I have since found out that that is probably because there were still workmen on our street that day desperately trying to make the houses livable! But in any case the garage option wouldn't have helped us as both hubby & I have bad backs so the professional movers were a necessity... As you can tell, I'm quite bitter about our purchase and my opinion of Harron Homes is not a good one. I hope it all goes smoothly for you though; I think there have been mixed experiences of buying from this company and I really do hope that more people have a positive one!
Good luck!

Feel like I need to reply to give you a positive story. Our sale with Harron was very straight forward from putting down a reservation fee to moving in it took 6 weeks. We wanted to be in before the Easter Bank Holiday and Harron enabled us to do this, in the end we weren't waiting on Harron we were waiting for funds to be transferred between solicitors so we didn't get the keys until 4pm but we had been warned about this so it wasn't a surprise. To be honest, it's been the same for all the other house moves too as it all depends on when funds are transferred.
Our experience with Harron has been excellent, all snags were more cosmetic issues than anything else and they've pretty much sorted them all out now. I've lived in 2 new builds before this and this experience has easily been the best and most straight forward. Our other houses were horrendous in terms of snags compared to this one. Hope it all goes ok for you, not all Harron buying experiences are bad ones :-)

We got our keys just after 12pm 👍 Pretty straight forward but they had messed us about previous to that
