So we're moving on to Waverley walk plot 186 We were given the 24th June to move in and after constantly ringing and telling them that the house wasn't going to be ready and them tell us it was they moved the date !! The new date was 29th July and was told yesterday that more than likely it will be moved again ............... The drive for our house is not fit for purpose as once your car is down you can't open your doors and get out The reason we picked the plot was because of the long drive which we would of thought you'd be able to use. Head office said that its on seconds stage plaster ? No we don't even have plaster boards !!!! Them in the office who keep saying we will sort it we will ring you back never do !!! My advise DO NOT BUY FROM HARRON HOMES

Yes Waverley Walk is by far been the worst Road. Plenty of posts on here about Waverley Walk. X They've been building our house since January and we still don't have a full set of Windows in !

You wont get any further with Harron, they are the worst company around. We went right to the top and still didn't get any further. They will do as they please at the end of the day. I was telling people not to buy from when we moved into ours. Shambles of a company X Just been down and they said they don't have enough builders at this time of year to complete the work as its their busiest !!! Well I enlighten them in to how crap they are I'm so mad

They won't be bothered at all. We've still got loads not finished and they arent bothered. I've threatened them with everything and it doesn't bother them, they are a crap company that shouldn't be building anymore X If in the first 2 years anything in your new build needs to be rectified, but Harron homes are failing to do so you can put a claim into NHBC !

Harron did the same to us. Just kept moving back the date. They are the worse company I've ever come across. We've had no end of problems and still on going 6 months afterwards. Hopefully there aren't many problems with your house but just be ready for endless phone calls and numerous excuses and lies. They go on forever. Like others have said it doesn't matter how high in the company you go they are all the same. The site men are full of shit and even if you manage to get more senior personnel out they're a waste of time as well

There are lots of people that are having problems. Do you think we could get some resolution if we collectively contacted watchdog/ trading standards / local paper?

We are in close connection with the local MP and he was absolutely disgusted knowing this was going on in his area - not enough people wrote letters or got back to me to raise a case though which is understandable when people work full time etc! - I mean we are now 5 months in and our canopy STILL ISNT FIXED!!! And snags outstanding! we got our own building surveyour and report which by law they have to follow or we can take them to the small courts which is actually our next step as they seem to have forgotten all about us and keep fobbing us off! When I threatened them with court 2 months ago they were quite mean to me until I made my case and told them they didn't have a chance of winning to which they responded "ok ok let's fix this like adults" I mean what's actually laughable is that we didn't even have a buildings regulations completion certificate until the end of April having moved in February!! Complete joke! I must admit if your moving into this phase that has Neil as the site man your probably going to get crap work and nobody to care! The other phases don't have it half as bad as us I will say that!

They are terrible give them two months now with emails and letters from my solicitor. Not replied once to any of it. So that's it now time to take legal action which will cost me £300 but I'll claim for every single fee I've lost.

I am thinking about contacting both Harworth and the MP regarding the treatment we have had from Harron and their cancellation of our sale. Other people need to be aware of what they are doing and how they are swindling people.
