What problems are you all having? Is it having the landscaping completed or is it with water drainage?

We're on Lescar Road and have drainage problems, mainly that the garden drains into the garage! As a result, and no surprise to anyone our grass is now starting to die. Not even a hint of when it is going to get sorted

Luckily I think we escaped these issues. Our turf is growing surprisingly well apart from 1 piece which I think we'll have to replace.
We haven't had any water ingress in the garage either, but the damp proofing is 2 bricks high from the garage floor, so the bottom 2 courses of bricks are damp.

we had a little "look" in our garden on Saturday to see if there were any issues as we were told that we had drainage put into our plot. It all looked pretty dry and the garage was dry as well. As Matt has said I think we have escaped any issues. but we are at the other end of Lescar. Lets see what happens when we try to lay turf and grow stuff!!

Hi all,
I have just started to landscape my garden. Found two drainage pipes running straight into my garden from under my garage , looks to be from the garage guttering. Harron had only dug a small soakaway. I have dug a 1m x 6m trench doen the side of my garage and filled it with stones, pebbles etc. Seems to be doing the trick.
If you haven't dug down, the garden soil lays on about a 1-2ft ledge of solid slate. I say 1-2, but that's only as far as I have chiseled down. That'll be the problem with drainage.
As for Harron, Matt, Oliver, Customer "Services" - no help.

Not least that part of your water bill is for carrying away rain water but also the problems that insufficient drainage causes on the type of soil found in this development. Very poor form from Harron.

Had a response from head office, they are "looking into it!" Could everyone email them from lescar road then maybe we can get things moving. I plan on emailing / phoning everyday until something it sorted.

Ive just sent her an email - a strong one at that. I have said that should the work not be conducted within 2-3 weeks, I am getting it done myself and sending Harron the bill for it at £3600.
