I suppose one good thing to come from poor drainage in the gardens, leading to drain flies, mosquitoes, crane flies etc is the wonderful dusk display of bats. Anyone else seen them in the garden (or over the front on the wasteland)? They are gorgeous - think they are pipistrelles

I'm not on Lescar Road, but we also have a little visitor who likes to come just after dark, running back and forth round the back gardens. I've only ever seen one at a time. Our own little pest controller.
