From what's been shared about Harron on here of late... When you complain they'll probably just try and move your house 12 inches to to the right.

It's to be hopes you don't have a wide car. Have they even dropped the kerb as well? Xx

The best part is when we went to tell them their response was "oh no not again!" They have assured us that it will get sorted and I would like to think they will sort the pavement and drop the curb before we move in. Will definitely be keeping an eye on the progress over the next couple of weeks to see if It gets moved! X

The sorry thing is they built that garage 12 months ago when they built the houses on Oak Dene Way and it has been obvious since then that the lamppost would need moving as it was in line with the garage door. Harrons site manager has walked past it day in and day out since then and not taken any action......last minute rush again!

Even sat next to it in his cabin lol. Probably needed that lamp there for him to read plans of where things were going xx

That lamp doesn't even work, never has done! They've just laid Tarmac around it as well, they've done the pavement without moving it first. It's not going anywhere fast.

I've just spoke to the council. They have confirmed that Harron have contacted them to move the lighting column, as it is known as. So to be fair to Harron they have looked to resolve it pretty quick.
Seems that it is just a case of waiting for Harron to cut the power to the lighting column (I like it) and then the council will move it. And all in writing from the council!

Hello! We live just round the corner on Oak Dene Way and had the same problem! The 'Light Column' was right in front of our front door! We wouldn't have got the sofa in...they promised twice it would be moved on a set date and it never was. In the end we added it into the contact that they had to move it within X amount of days of signing......they moved it within the week! That's the only way we seemed to be able to sort the problem Hope it helps
