Recommendations for Tilers

Hi Guys

Well its all official. Our Mortgage has been approved to its all systems go.

We have decided to get someone else to do the floor tiling as Harron are charging a small fortune. 

Does anyone has any recommendations for tilers? Anything will be cheaper than 700 for a utility room!!!

I can't recommend anyone, unfortunately the guy that laid the floor in our house made a complete mess and would never go with a friend of a friend

However, I've been told the next time I need someone and we will need our laminate floor laying in the Dining room (Harron wanted to charge us £1500!!), we should place a request on Rated People www.ratedpeople.com, www.mybuilder.com, www.myjobquote.co.uk, www.needworkdone.co.uk or www.trustatrader.com.

Let me know how you get one, or we will if we do our dinning room before you do your utility room

I put a message on Sheffield Forum and got a message back from a guy who charges £30 per m2 for labour without cost of tiles. but this still works out cheaper than Harron. We are going to get more quotes and see who will collect tiles from stores etc and then get them in on the week we move in!!
