Has anyone else been experiencing mould around their window frames?
We have 19 windows in the house and we are experiencing mould on the window on 3rd floor shower room at the front of the house and the two side windows in the main bedroom on the 2nd floor. There seems to be no consistency with the location of the mould. We open the windows for ventilation and there isn't an issue with mould in the main family bathroom or the other rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. I was wondering if it was an issue with the construction of the window frame and a possible internal leak. Any thoughts?

Are you in an Oxford by any chance? (Just guessing by the amount of Windows!) we have been in our Oxford for almost a year and haven't had any issues, we just have dodgy floors instead. I'd get on to TW if I were you, see if there's anything they can do to stop the issue.

The floors in our are also very creaky, they make so much noise walking about on one side of the house on the 2nd and 3rd floor. We will be asking them to review the property very soon as the expected cracks are appearing around the staircase.

Hiya, yeah we had it done earlier this year they took the ceilings down and put metal bars up to stop it. They were really good to be fair and paid alternative accomation for us too. Just need to chase them for a floor on the other side of the house before out warranty runs out next month which isn't a big job apparently and we'll be sorted. Glad you got yours fixed too!

They'll fix your creaky floors? I'm in a TW and mine are really noisy! I didn't know they'd do this!

Yep, a couple of ours were quite severe so it took a full week, but we've had one or two areas fixed that the guy only took half an hour. Give them an email and they come and assess, then send someone out.
