I'll let her know. I'm not sure she uses the forum.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your communication concerning our post. If you would give me your house number and street I will come and collect the letters whenever convenient for you.
Thank you Nicola for the tip off...

Does the postman just drop off mail at random houses or do the letters genuinely have the wrong address? Either way I can't understand how or why. It happens a lot.

Its happening quite often.. Our post has ended up in the past to many other number 41s. Matlock way for a start, sometime numbers in the 30s, totally on the other side of the estate. When I questioned one of the postman, he blamed it on temp covering his shift. We do receive post which don't belong to us. I think its just about paying a bit more attention, taking the time to read the address properly so that the mail is delivered to right door... Or someone needs to go to Specsavers...

Our post lady is brilliant but on two occasions we have been given letters for a house with the same number as us but no other similarity. Both times were her cover postman.
