I wonder if there is anyone in the past 6 months who has had a good experience and love their new home?
Anyone?!?

How many houses do you reckon have been released over the past 6 months? If nobody has had a positive experience then that's got to be pretty bleak!

Exactly
I'm just hoping those who have had a good experience are happily settling in and therefore wouldn't think to come and post?
The more I read though, I'm not so sure!!

No news is good news.... People who have problems join and comment about their bad experiences... People who comment positively are generally on here for other reasons and then choose to say they have had a good experience if they get into a chat...
It's a minefield though, I love my house and build quality fine, but I didn't like to post too much as the minute you do, those with bad experiences tend to jump in (which is fair enough, they are having a bad time) so to be honest I wonder if people just don't want to rub people's noses in it as they say...
Plus if you're happy, you don't feel the need to post... And also if you're happy, you still might not post as you don't want someone to buy on yoir comments and then have the bad experience someome else had?...
Maybe count up the people with complaints and take them away from people who have moved in for a rough idea?

We have had a bad experience with Harron and two months on still going through it though and been through every manager possible and still getting nowhere. Something you expect to be right from the start....isn't and it's not just general snags as we were expecting general snags we've had the house all replastered, every wall is out, all fully repainted the list goes on, should you really be moving into a house like this? And people that have just reserved one don't expect the work to get any better as they also seem to have got rid of contractors and don't have replacements.

I love love love our house. We had a few snagging issues which still aren't sorted but the positives far outweigh the negatives. We love the estate and the area and we are even impressed with Handsworth Grange school. I'm looking forward to out first summer where we can get out and about on the bikes. Oh and the dogs also love it - there are loads of walks for them without ever having to get into the car. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else

I love it here and not withstanding a few epic snags, house is a fine build and I'm happy with it. The massive issues being reported are terrible but as awful as they are, seem isolated to a few houses. The impact of this is to make everyone else hyper sensitive too.
I recall the difficulties I had getting Harron to sort stuff out (it took a full year to get a window put in) so I can't imagine how the people feel with the huge faults. but you have to suck some stuff up. The gardens are rubbish and very clay based but by rotavating and improving the soil, we now have a garden I can grow anything in.
harron customer service was the biggest flaw for me.

We love our house, we did have a few issues at first with late moving at last minute notice and then a fair few snags nothing major tho... We couldn't be happier with our home.. Already started adding to it with a island in the kitchen and eventually plans to put an orangery on the back of the house... We will be staying here for a long time
