Hi,
We are interested in a Hanley home, but since we've been in and seen the size of the kitchen we have some reservations...
We were looking at 2 homes on the site, the Alton by Taylor Wimpey and the Hanley by Harron. We went for the Hanley because we liked the third floor lay out better and the fact that it had a garage and lots of extras included.
To get our head around both houses we drove up to Barnsley to look around the Alton show home and now we are in a connundrum...we like the first 2 floors of the Alton but the third floor, 2nd bedroom, lounge and the garage of the Hanley.
What I'm wondering is, does anyone live in the Hanley and how are you finding it? Is this kitchen too small?
thanks in advance Frances

We've been in a Hanley since Christmas and love it the third floor suite is fantastic plenty of space, the en suite is big and really could have fitted a bigger shower cubicle or even a bath. The dressing area is a good size but would suggest having an extra electric socket fitted in there we missed it didn't have one.
The second floor is pretty standard affair good size bathroom. The box room is smaller than we expected but still big enough for us. The second bed really makes this floor and really it would make a decent master bedroom.
The ground floor. Let's start with the living room it's a nice size with out being to big although it did take a few weeks to get the furniture set how we like it. Now the kitchen well first off the kitchen is fine and I really like the size could have more cupboard space but you could say that in most kitchens the part we've struggled with is what's supposed to be the dinning area at the back it's practical useless. We've got a four seater table and when not in use we have to push it into the corner and put two of the chairs elsewhere which isn't too bad for us as there's only the two of us.
Over all we really like the house the dinning area is the only let down really.
