Ok, long shot but does anyone have the standard Harron burgular alarm and can advise what the error code "Bell Tamp" means.
Thanks

Andy thinks it may be a fault with the tamper switches inside the bell box. Apparently the warning 'Bell Tamp' means that someone has tried to open up the bell box whilst the alarm is armed.

Thanks nicola. It must be a loose connection somewhere or maybe moisture is getting in to the bell box because no-one has attempted to open the box. Funny how it's the same time both days though.

Hi. I am sure the direct link guy mentioned that the Harron alarms are a product they know about.
You could try them if all else fails?

Thanks. I've tried South Electrical (Harron's contractor) and they can sort it but £75 call out charge. Being a tight arsed northerner I'm going to attempt fixing it myself. Seems a pretty easy job to adjust the tamper Spring. Wish me luck!

If I hear the alarm going off I'll start a thread entitled 'whose is that annoying alarm'
