hi everyone
We have just signed for a Kinnersley on Waverely Walk and have been told to expect June as our completion month. Our friends have one around the corner and had a few snags which were sorted over a few months but nothing like what people are reporting on here.
We are really looking forward to being part of the new community, however a lot of the comments about harron homes have made us a little apprehensive.
Would appreciate people's thoughts
Thanks
Ashley

I'm only pulling your leg, there have been some horror stories of late but I think your friends experience is much more the norm. Hopefully all will be fine

Have a look at the other threads too. It can be a challenge with Harron to get things done but the recent issues seem an anomaly. That is not to say that myself and others did not have some difficulties, mind.
I love my house. It's warm and very spacious and well designed. On balance there was more right with it than wrong.

Think you'll have seen my thread but we are into the middle of Feb now and nearly got every sorted apart from the garage and the garden. The garage is still flooding and said they were sending a specialist out, I keep chasing them on it and they keep giving the same story as they are waiting. Nothing can really be done with the garden until warmer weather as it's just a massive bog and it's like quick sand. I fell in it last week trying to get our blue box that had blown up there, they've put drainage in bit it's not worked so it's an ongoing thing until it gets warmer.
We have had workmen in every single day since they returned to work as the house near enough needed fully rebuilding. Keep on top of them and it will get done.
We are in the Grassington on Waverley Walk, are you moving into the Kinnersleys that haven't been built yet? Xx

Hi
Thanks for your responses. We are due to move into plot 186 the very last Kinnersley on the left hand side as you walk up the road. Our foundations have just gone in.
The whole thing has developed so quickly, I enquires just to check on affordability and then next thing we have reserved a plot and 4 weeks later our house is sold and contracts signed!!
We've been down the road a few times to check on progress etc and everyone seems so friendly!! Hopefully no issues ahead, but even so they seem to sort them with a gentle nudge!

There's no gentle push with these, it's a great big shove they need. Giving gentle nudges you'll be at all the problems for years. They'll get away with the least possible and hide everything.
We were the same we already had all plans drawn up for an extension at our old house and just nipped in to look and the next thing we reserved xx
