We don't generally do Indian take aways so we don't know any in this area that are reputable (clean) and tasty so any suggestions welcome. We fancy trying one tonight.

We had one from woodhouse spice before but wasn't great. Akbars near Tinsley is fantastic but they only do collection.

We travel a bit further to Viraaj, but hands down it beats anything local. Tried them all.

My Mum makes best traditional Indian curry but its not for sale! sorry folks.. She has spoilt me so much no body around here can get anywhere her cooking. I would have to travel to Bradford or places like Birmingham to get anything close to Mums cooking. Perhaps one day, once we got our residential association up and running, I may treat those of you been trying so hard to untie our small community here at Waverley. We are grateful to those good citizens of Waverley.

However, when I did order from their before knowing this I did enjoy it. I hadn't seen it no. Maybe that's why it tasted good, with the extra rat droppings and salmonella in it. Maybe I'll think twice about that now as it's that bad.

Just moved from Bradford, so slightly worried about trying curries round here, not expecting them to live up to my expectations, so good to see some recommendations! Will have to give them a try!

We went to la Pondicherry last night. It's a new Indian restaurant based at the stag in Rotherham. I can highly recommend it. The food was lovely and the staff very welcoming. They do take away but it is collection only.
