I would have preferred the site to be kept free and used for community events (ie, gala etc) and spill over from the Winter Green during their events ...

I like it.
That garden for plot 44 though!

Do we know what's happened to Harron? Last I heard I thought they had purchased the land adjacent to the Wintergreen, and the strip of land along Barratts homes.

Harron have pulled out of the two phases ... I'm sure they will be back at some point!
They were planning on building both phases at the same time but phase 1i can not be built on yet

Is that due to land not having settled yet?

Generally I like it. It’s very similar to the previous Harron layout, and the house styles would be a nice addition to Waverley.
I note however that the 2016 house builder federation results show that Avant only score 2 stars, compared to Barratt’s 5*, Taylor Wimpys 4* and Harron Homes no score as they are either not a member of the HBF or opt out of the scoring.

Is that due to land not having settled yet? Yes the land right at the bottom by the new Barrat show homes is still settling, it's almost there but not at the levels required hence the skip still being there.
