Hi,new on this forum and we purchased plot 173 which we move in on the 18th December. Anyone else moving in on that Street on here?
Going to be a hectic one for us as we get married on the 12th December then everything will be go go go.
Looking forward to meeting new neighbours, we have two children and don't yet know what school to put my eldest in, she's 7 and quite shy so changing schools for her will be a big change. Xx

Awwww Brill. Yeah I can't see it been ready we went down last night and there's still all the plastering and for it to dry after they have finished the roof plus everything else and the weathers not that good. I think it will be just before Xmas but will make it worse for us lol. My partner works offshore on oil rigs and he's away over Xmas think he's going the 21st so it will be just me moving lol. So fingers crossed it is the 18th hopefully but I think they will push it back. Where are you moving from? xx

Sounds like a very busy month for you with the wedding too. They were working inside the Hanleys at the beginning on the road when we popped down last Sunday so they must really want to be getting people moved in working on them 7 days a week. We are moving from Aston, how about you? Really looking forward to moving in. Jessica

Yeah they have put them up pretty quick since September. We keep going down and taking photos lol.
Moving from sunnyside near Wickersley. Lived here 9 years so will be a big change moving house. Was a decision between having a big extension on ours which we had all plans drawn up or moving and in end decided on moving as it would be easier. Picked one with a double garage that I can turn into a studio. Can't wait really. Really excited. Xx

I'm always having a drive on taking photos bet they get sick of us all lol is a big change for us too, we've both always lived in the area where we are, but hopefully in the long run if all the plans happen for Waverley will be a great place to live. Ah gathered you were a photographer, what type of photography are you in to? xx

Yeah I bet they do as well. We were always driving on site when they started building cos we wanted to see lol. I bet everyone does though.
Mainly weddings I do but studio stuff as well. I turned my dining room into a studio in this house with all fixed lights and backdrops on wall but it's too much having people come through your house each time so that's why we looked for something that we could turn into a studio then came across Waverley and really liked the area, we was going to go for that other Grassington but it had a single garage so wasn't big enough then this one came up and we just went for it. Thought it was ideal. Be sad to leave where we are as all neighbours are lovely and we do like where we are it's just the house isn't big enough. My friends a photographer who lives about ten houses away and shes always round at mine so will miss that. But Waverleys not far away from where we are now and o know in the long run it will be a good decision made.
I think with wedding and moving house coming up, they are both taking mimd off what's really happening lol. We don't know whether to start packing or what as dates could change. Defo be a last minute thing with packing everything up. Have you started packing? I think no one knows what to do for best as before Xmas with the weather and where they are at with it, it doesn't look promising but suppose they have targets to hit so might make sure we are all defo in xx

The last couple of times I've been on, I've walked under the apartment and had a look from the parking area behind the house, hope the people whose parking it is don't mind but only way to get a good look at it lol
We only got married in April had a lovely day. Have you got much left to sort out? Must be funny having to leave it to someone else to do photos for you. Yeah least when you've got it set up you can close door on it at end of day. Must be a nice job though.
We have started packing the house is starting to look bare. We were going to leave a lot of it thinking it was going to be January but think we're going to crack on with it over the next few weeks. My husband works 6 days so only really get the Sunday to have a full day at it so don't want to leave it all until last minute. Suppose it's easier for us because we haven't got any kids so we're not putting decorations and things up for Christmas but bet your kids love having the tree and things up, all part of try excitement isn't it. I've read on some other post how they work to get people in for year end so it probably can be done. Yours is further on than ours we've still got no roof tiles yet! Be like 60 minute make over decorating it as we move in lol xx

It's nice one we can actually drive onto the road which will be our road. I really can't wait.
Awwww that's lovely and springs a lovely time to get married. I picked December cos it's my 30th birthday the same day lol. We've been together 11 and half year so thought it was time lol, we are going upto the Yorkshire Dales to get married a long weekend with everyone. I cant wait but still quite a bit to do and only two weeks left lol. I used to be organised before having kids and now I'm not except for times I'm always on time and early for everything lol.
Yeah it will be right strange having a photographer photograph us, photographer I've chosen knows what im like and told me I can't interfere lol. I've done that many weddings and love it. Last year I did two nearly every weekend and loved it. But the dress I've chosen for my wedding I now know how brides feel when Im making them do all these poses in a wedding dress, must feel so awkward lol.
We were going to go to York for a couple of days after wedding but now thinking we best come back and start packing things up as otherwise nothing is going to get done. Lol. Yeah kids live Xmas,my partner always goes to garden centre and picks biggest tree they've got then wrestles it into house lol we've had to chop quite a lot of some of the trees we've chosen in the past lol. We've got two dogs as well, a lab and a collie. Collie we got on first day we moved into this house so he's 9 and getting on a bit now and our lab is 5. Both act like kids so its like we've got 4 kids and at Xmas dogs always want to open kids presents lol. It's one of the things I'm dreading to be honest with it been like a building site on there and dogs. Can see the house getting muddy!!!
I think we will be in but it will be a push, probably have more men working on them over these next couple of weeks. I like the fact o n that road how there's that grass verge and it's going to have trees in and things....will make it a wide Road. Really can't wait I keep getting excited about moving.
I saw in another post are your relatives moving bear you ad well, that will be good xx

Not be long now, they've moved the gate to the end of our road. I Nipped to Morrisons earlier so couldn't resist having a drive on lol Sounds lovely, very picturesque up that way isn't it. Yeah must be hard to take a step back. Our day went to quickly so it's great to have photos to look back on. I found the last couple of week the most stressful, you think some things will be quick to sort out and you've got ages then it soon comes around! Aww bet they love waiting to see what the trees like then lol we've got a miniature schnauzer, she turned one in September so wanted to just eat the baubles last year!! She loves other dogs so she'll be trying to bust through the fence to come and play with yours lol we've walked quite a few times around the lakes and she always gets filthy, so will definately be some mucky paws. The ground down there seems to hold the water as well so hoping the garden doesn't get boggy, we've got turf included so hopefully it won't be too bad. Yeah I think it's going to be a lovely street, they are quite a distance from the ones across the street. Only annoying things is on ours it's a single drive so we are going to extend it when we move in so we can both park on drive, so hope there's not too many cars parked up all over the street. Yeah they are plot 220. They have got a daughter same age as yours and a nearly 4 year old daughter too xx

Awwww what do you call her?
I'm guna have a drive tomorrow and take some more pics of it I think in day lol.
Everyone says it goes really quickly but when your photographing it goes really slow lol. I do the same routine over and over so I don't miss any photos out and I get all the family as there's worse than missing pics out that you want. I'm still takings my cameras up with me lol.
Can remember our first Xmas tree our collie was only a few months old and he pulled the full tree over lol. We had to put string round it after that and tie it to the curtain hooks lol.
Yeah we've got turf as well think it will just turn into a mud garden to be honest as I can't see it taking in winter. We've got two cars well a truck and a car, they should fit on but we've got two front gardens with ours so thinking eventuallywhen we've had all garage boarded out, electric heating in etc thinking of block paving one of the gardens do them people who come for photos can pull straight on instead of been on the road which will make it easier.
Yeah our lab loves other dogs always wants to play. Our collie is a bit grouchy now he's getting on lol. I always take our collie into grooming place to be shaved completely lol to cut down on dog hair and my partner always goes mad at me for taking him cos he says you should let cut collies a she doesnt look like a dog lol.
We haven't been round the lake how do you get to it? Xx

She's called Poppy. What are yours called? She won't be left alone with it this year as recently she's taken a liking to a house plant we've got and ripped the leaves off and thrown the soil out of the pot, think she was protesting at been left in on her own lol aww does she like going to groomers? Poppy hates it!
You can see yours really well now they've moved the gate, I took a couple of pics of the road but can't upload them on mobile.
I suppose your trying to pay attention to catch all the little things we all might miss so must seem like a long day. Haha I bet your photographer will be stressed knowing your a photographer!
You can either get on by walking down past the Barratt showhomes or if you drive on and drive past the road you turn on to get to our road and park up at the end then there's a path down and when you see main road at bottom of path you follow path round to right but that would be a longer walk if your going with kids xx

Yeah defo guna have a run through tomorrow and take some pics, with be long till we're in. I'll be one on day of moving in taking pics of everything while he's having a go at me to help him move stuff in lol.
Our two year old when he meets you will talking head off, he just talks and talks and talks mainly about cars and diggers lol. He'll love it with all diggers there on road lol. My daughters really shy and shes just into reading books lol. Both really opposite.

Awwww Ringwood Hall is lovely. Did you have it outside or in? Or they've now got a marquee there haven't the.
He'll defo love watching all diggers all he wears are digger and tractor tops, I'm scared he will want to wear one on wedding lol.
Yeah women defo project manage lol.
Are you getting a removal van or hiring one? They said get something booked early but how do you know when to book it for lol. It's a good job we aren't bringing loads with us,just beds and settees mainly. Everything else can stay or be chucked. Loads ate getting us like kettle toaster etc picture frames, lights as wedding presents so at least we don't have to buy owt like that. It's just the bulky stuff that needs moving and kids have got these really massive wooden toy boxes that we couldnt fit through the door of our house so God knows how they are guna go in lol. Xx
